What are Math Fact Sundaes?
The Second Grade P.S.I. Math
Classes will be building brownie sundaes as an incentive for
mastering our addition and subtraction facts. I am challenging
my students to MASTER their math facts especially addition and
subtraction! Students can earn a part of the sundae each time a
test is passed. Students will eat whatever they’ve earned on our
math fact sundae celebration day which occurs at the end of each
semester-two celebrations a year.

How do I participate?
Students will be required to answer 20 questions within 1 minute
and achieve 100% on each of the online tests to consider a
MASTER of the facts. If the facts are not mastered, they will be
able to take the online test again until it is mastered in
class, or they will be able to take a paper and pencil test in
class on Fridays. Each time the students master the facts they
will earn a part of an ice cream sundae. At the end of each
semester, we will be making the sundaes and your child will have
whatever part of the sundae they have earned.
When will that
